Animal Box Office Collection:
The action drama “Animal,” starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, is making over Rs 600 crore at the box office globally.
The film’s makers claim that it brought in Rs 600.67 crore at the global box office. The production company T-Series revealed the “Animal” collecting update on X, noting that the movie’s eight-day global gross was Rs 600.67 crore.
On the ninth day since its release, the global box office earnings for the action drama directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga show a strong performance in its second week. According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, the film has accumulated a remarkable ₹660.89 crore worldwide. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, the movie was launched globally on December 1 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
In a Sunday update with X, Ramesh Bala posted a poster and expressed, “Animal’s unstoppable momentum persists, breaking box office records yet again! This cinematic spectacle has amassed an impressive ₹660.89 crore globally in nine days, and there’s no sign of slowing down! Produced by Bhushan Kumar, and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film features Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Triptii Dimri.”
While the movie continues to enjoy success in theatres, a segment of both critics and audiences has raised concerns about its perceived misogyny and explicit violence. The film received an A certificate from the CBFC before its release. Alongside Ranbir Kapoor, the cast includes Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Suresh Oberoi, and Prem Chopra.
In a recent interview with the news agency PTI, Bobby Deol commented, “There’s good and evil in every human being, and what brings out the evil in some situation. As an actor, you think as a character. ‘I’m doing nothing wrong, I’m right in whatever I do.’ You forget how to judge what is right and wrong.”
About “Animal”: “Animal” portrays a world marked by violence, set against the backdrop of a tumultuous relationship between Ranbir’s character, Ranvijay Singh, and his father Balbir Singh, portrayed by Anil Kapoor. Ranbir’s character is depicted as fiercely protective and obsessive about his father’s love, resorting to threats against anyone perceived to hinder his love for his father.
Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures join forces as producers for the movie. “Animal” boasts a runtime of three hours and 21 minutes. It premiered in theatres, facing box office competition from Meghna Gulzar’s “Sam Bahadur.”
